The purpose of this research is to assess the level of implementation of environmental management systems in companies engaged in automobile servicing in Belgrade, as well as to determine the percentage of enterprises in this sector that are certified according to ISO 14001 and EMAS. The empirical research in this paper was conducted using data collected from 22 companies engaged in vehicle servicing in Belgrade. The data were gathered through field research, by surveying company management using questionnaires, while the data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistics. The results indicate that the main reasons for implementation are obtaining new business opportunities (acquiring authorized dealer/service certificates), improving customer satisfaction, and concern for environmental protection.
