Dr. Avinash Mishra is a graduate from the University of Allahabad (India). He received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. from GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar (India), in molecular biology and biotechnology. Presently, he is working as a Senior Principal Scientist in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology at CSIR-Central Salt and Marine Chemicals Research Institute (Govt. of India), Bhavnagar, Gujarat, India. His research interests are plant molecular biology, abiotic stress tolerance, transgenic crops, plant metabolomics, and edible seaweeds for functional food and nutraceutical applications.
