Prof. Qiong Bao is an Associate Professor of the School of Transportation at Southeast University in China. She received her Ph.D. in Transportation Sciences from the Transportation Research Institute (IMOB) of Hasselt University, Belgium, in 2016. In recent years, Prof. Qiong Bao has coordinated and participated in a number of transportation-related research projects funded by the NSFC, MOST, EU, IWT, etc., based on which she has published over 40 articles in scientific peer-reviewed journals and conferences, such as Transportation Research Part C/F, Accident Analysis and Prevention, the International Journal of Intelligent Systems and Knowledge-Based Systems. She received the Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Self-financed Students Abroad in 2015. Prof. Qiong Bao’s current research interests include decision-making and behavior analysis, travel demand prediction, traffic safety evaluation, logistic planning and management, etc.
