Dr. Carlos Barrera-Causil is a full professor at the Instituto Tecnológico Metropolitano—ITM from Medellín, Colombia, and conducts research in Bayesian and computational statistics with the research group Davinci at the ITM. He is a Statistician at the Universidad de Córdoba, Colombia, and has a Master's degree in statistics and a Ph.D in statistical science from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia Sede Medellín. His main research interests include Bayesian statistics, cognitive science, statistical modeling, and statistical learning.
