Dr. Han is an Associate Professor of Water Resources at Ball State University in Indiana. He received his Ph.D. degree in Environmental (Water) Resources Engineering from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry. His research and teaching interests include water quantity and quality change and management under the context of climate change and human activities. His most current research involves identifying microplastics from wastewater, freshwater, and terrestrial landscapes. He is serving as the secretary of the American Water Resources Association.
