Dr. Benedetta Mannini has extensive experience in both academic and industry settings. She earned her PhD from the University of Florence (Italy) and went on to gain postdoctoral research experience at CABIMER in Spain and the University of Cambridge in the UK. Following this, she spent five years as a Principal Scientist at WaveBreak Therapeutics (UK), where she led the Cell Biology platform. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor at the University of Florence, with a primary focus on advancing the translation of innovative research for neurodegenerative diseases into practical applications.
