Borja Alonso is a Civil Engineer and Ph.D. from the University of Cantabria. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the area of Engineering and Transport Infrastructure, where he has been teaching since 2010.
His research focus is on transport infrastructures and the operational analysis of traffic networks, the design of public transport systems, and user behavior models. He has published more than 20 articles in internationally indexed journals (JCR), has presented various papers at national and international conferences, and is coeditor and coauthor of two complete books and several book chapters.
