Irene Caffa is a researcher in Applied Technical Dietetical Sciences at the Department of Internal Medicine, University of Genoa. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences in 2007, received an MSc in Biological Sciences course of Cellular and Molecular Biology in 2009 and received a PhD in Clinical and Experimental Oncology and Hematology in 2014 from the University of Genoa. Since 2012, Irene Caffa has started working on tumor metabolism and clinical and pre-clinical applications of fasting and modified-fasting diets in cancer prevention, cancer treatments, and oncologic therapy side-effect reduction.
