Giovanni Cantele is Professor of Physics at the Physics Department of University of Naples "Federico II". He has been staff researcher for the Italian National Research Council (CNR) from 2002 to July 2025. His research activity involves the theoretical simulation of the structural, electronic, optical and transport properties of materials, surfaces, interfaces and nanostructures, with about 80 papers published in peer-reviewed international journals. He also contributes to the University teaching/formation activities, through courses for both PhD and undergraduate students as well as student/Phd student/Post-Doc supervisor.
