Carlos F. T. Soares received the Electronics Engineer, M.Sc. and D.Sc. degrees from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), Brazil, in 2004, 2006 and 2009, respectively. In 2009, he joined the Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering of UFRJ as an associate professor. Currently, he has been involved in research activities in the areas of Microelectronics, CMOS Integrated Circuit Design, Instrumentation and Analog and Digital Signal Processing.
