Gianmarco Goycochea Casas was born on June 20, 1991 in Lima, Peru. He graduated from the National University of Cajamarca (2015) with a degree in Forestry Engineering, and obtained a master's degree in Forest Science from Federal University of Viçosa (2021). He has a strong background in forest biometrics, statistics, and growth-and-yield modelling, with an emphasis on forest management in plantations. He focuses mainly on the following topics: forest inventory management, data structure, machine learning, artificial intelligence, artificial neural networks, and deep learning.
