Chien-Chih Lai MD graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University and started out as an attending physician in the Division of Allergy, Immunology, and Rheumatology at Taipei Veterans General Hospital in 2015, a pioneering hospital pursuing the application of artificial intelligence in many medical care services. He is also a member of the Taiwan College of Rheumatology, Taiwan Society of Ultrasound in Medicine, and Taiwan Society of Internal Medicine. His research interests include the comorbidities and complications of rheumatic diseases, autoimmune diseases, and inflammatory arthritis, as well as the impacts of environmental factors and toxins on autoimmune diseases. He is also involved in the development of artificial intelligence in the clinical treatment of rheumatic diseases.
