Dr. Charalampos (Harry) Drivas is a materials scientist specialising in advanced surface and interface characterisation using X-ray and UV spectroscopies, including XPS, UPS, and XAS. His research focuses on in situ and operando studies of functional materials for catalytic, microelectronic, and energy applications, often leveraging synchrotron radiation facilities. With a strong background in thin-film synthesis, layered materials, and transition metal dichalcogenides, he has contributed to projects spanning catalysis, photovoltaics, and surface chemistry of oxides. Passionate about interdisciplinary collaboration and robust spectral analysis, he combines expertise in spectroscopy, vacuum systems, and nanomaterials to explore structure–property relationships under realistic working conditions.
