Information

Sergey L. Cherkas graduated from Physics Department of the Belarusian State University in 1989, and began to work at Institute for Nuclear Problems (INP) of Belarus State University, which turns out to be associated with his subsequent research activity. Initially, the research was related to consideration of the channelling effects of the high energy particles in crystals, nuclear optics, and search for fundamental symmetries (CP-, time reversal) breaking. In 2004 the Laboratory of Cosmomicrophysics was organized at INP and S.L. Cherkas took an active part in astrophysical research. Although Cosmomicrophysics Lab of INP is closed down now, S.L. Cherkas continues the research in a field of quantum gravity as a member of Laboratory of Fundamental Interactions of INP.
