Prof. Chao-Lung Chiang's research focuses on advancing sustainable technologies for net-zero carbon emissions. His expertise includes carbon capture, storage, and utilization (CCSU), resource recycling, and the chemistry of cement and concrete. He explores innovative pathways for low-carbon and negative-carbon building materials, alternative fuels, and emissions trading systems. Additionally, his work delves into photoelectrochemical materials for hydrogen/oxygen evolution reactions (HER/OER) and synchrotron X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS) for studying metal heterogeneous catalysis.
