Dr. Collin G. Joseph, FIMC, is a Chartered Chemist and Professor in the Industrial Chemistry Program at Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), where he joined the faculty in 2003. He received his PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nottingham, UK, in 2011. Dr. Joseph founded the Sonophotochemistry Research Group in 2014 and continues to lead interdisciplinary research in Adsorbent Technology, Sonophotochemistry, and Ozone Chemistry. He has received numerous Excellence and Service Awards and Gold Medals at national innovation competitions (MTE, ITEX, and PEREKA). An active peer reviewer and editorial contributor, he has reviewed over 250 manuscripts for leading publishers and serves on editorial boards including the Malaysian Journal of Chemistry and Frontiers in Chemistry. He was elected Fellow of the Malaysian Institute of Chemistry in 2021 and maintains active collaborations locally and internationally.
