Prof. Cristian Paz is a professor at the Laboratory of Natural Products & Drug Discovery, Department of Basic Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, Universidad de La Frontera in Chile. In 2012 he obtained the degree of Doctor of Science with a mention in Chemistry at the University of Concepción. His research interests include the isolation of natural products from plants or fungi, as well as the functional analysis of bioactive compounds using molecular biology.
