Dr. Chen is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Taipei, having previously served in the Department of Bioinformatics and Medical Engineering at Asia University. He earned his Ph.D. from the Taiwan International Graduate Program (TIGP) in Bioinformatics at Academia Sinica, in cooperation with National Chiao Tung University, and completed postdoctoral training at both Academia Sinica and AIST in Japan. Dr. Chen’s research integrates bioinformatics, artificial intelligence, and natural language processing (NLP) to solve complex, cross-disciplinary problems. He host the AI and BioMed Lab.
