Dr. Dachao LIN, Hong Kong Scholar awarded by the Chinese Postdoctoral Science Foundation and the Society of Hong Kong Scholars, currently serving as the Assistant Professor of Guangdong University of Technology and Postdoctoral Fellow of The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He received his Ph.D. degree on Civil Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology in 2022. Dr. LIN has been long-term committed to the research on the water treatment by membrane technology. His expertise in the fields of electrochemical technology and membrane separation is well documented through previous relevant research work and more than 50 high-impact publications in leading peer-reviewed journals such as Environmental Science & Technology, Water Research, Chemical Engineering Journal, Journal of Membrane Science, etc. The total number of citations is more than 1100, and the h-index is 20 (Google scholar source). Dr. LIN has also been awarded grants from National Natural Science Foundation of China (Young Scientists Fund), Guangdong Natural Science Fund (General Programme), Chinese Postdoctoral Science Foundation (General Programme), and a total of 5 projects. He has also actively served as the guest editor and reviewer for more than 60 times for the special issues, publications, and grants in leading peer-reviewed journals regarding water environmental science.
