Assistant Professor of applied forest ecology and silviculture at the Department of Natural Sciences and Technology of the University of Aysen in Coyhaique, Chile. His current research interests are 1) Regeneration ecology and silviculture, 2) silviculture for increasing the forest structural complexity, 3) forest modeling, 4) ecological forest management, and 5) forest restoration.
