Graduated from Pirogov Russian State Medical University as a biochemist. Switched to bioinformatics and defended a thesis project on ancient DNA methylation in obesity, then continued studies in the field of atheroslerosis. Mostly focus on bioinformatic analysis of RNA-seq, BS-seq, ChIP-seq and other epigenetic approaches. Now study mutations associated with defects of mitophagy as well as the gene expression in monocytes of patients subjected to atherosclerosis and cybrid lines based on those monocytes.
