Dr. David Gramaje is a Research Scientist “Ramón y Cajal” at the Institute of Grapevine and Wine Sciences (ICVV) in Logroño (La Rioja, Spain). Since 2015, David has been the head of the research group BIOTIVIS at the ICVV. His main research interest focuses on the application of next-generation sequencing technology to explore the soil and grapevine microbiome and its interaction with fungal trunk pathogens. David is also actively involved in the development and implementation of integrated management strategies of grapevine trunk diseases in nurseries and vineyards. He has published over 80 JCR papers, lead numerous national and international projects, and supervised 3 PhD thesis.
