I am I am Dr. David Major M.D. Ph.D, a specialist in Preventive Medicine and Public Health, working as an Assistant Professor at Semmelweis University. My professional and research interests focus on health promotion, epidemiology, healthy ageing, geroscience, and healthy longevity medicine. I am involved in several national and international research collaborations, including the Semmelweis Study, or the Healthy Longevity Consortium. I am member of the Healthy Longevity Medicine Society and the European Public Health Association. My scientific work focuses on lifestyle, prevention, health behaviour, ageing, and the determinants of healthy longevity. I teach public health, medical professionalism, and topics related to healthy ageing. My aim is to contribute, through my research and educational activities, to strengthening evidence-based, prevention-oriented approaches that support the preservation of health, functional ability, and quality of life across the life course.
