Biography

I received my PhD in Chemistry from Middle East Technical University (METU), Turkey. I served as an Assistant Professor at Selcuk University from 2020 to 2022 before transitioning to postdoctoral research in the United States. I was a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology at Rutgers University from 2022 to 2025 and am currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at Cleveland State University. My research integrates materials chemistry, nanotechnology, and biomedical engineering, with a focus on nano- and micro-scale biomaterials for regenerative medicine, cell therapy, tissue engineering, antibacterial wound healing, and sustainable energy-related catalytic systems. My long-term goal is to establish an independent academic career through multidisciplinary and translational research.
