Assist. Prof. Daniel Kozelj, MBA, is a strategic infrastructure expert and Assistant Professor at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Civil and Geodetic Engineering, with over 15 years of experience in sustainable urban development, real estate appraisal, and smart infrastructure systems. His academic and professional work focuses on the intersection of land management, spatial planning, and infrastructure asset optimization, with particular emphasis on data-driven decision-making. He has led several EU-funded innovation projects in Southeast Europe addressing non-revenue water reduction, digital transformation in utilities, and cross-border infrastructure resilience. His recent research employs advanced modeling techniques, including hedonic pricing, machine learning, and GIS-based analytics, to examine housing market dynamics, land valuation, and sustainable investment planning. He is also a certified real estate appraiser and holds an MBA.
