Professor Dongmei Cui received her B.S. and M.S. degrees of Polymer Chemistry at Department of Chemical Engineering, Dalian Univ. of Technology in 1985 and 1988, and PhD degree of Polymer Physics and Chemistry at CIAC, CAS in 2001. 1988.07–1992.08, she worked as a lecturer at Shenyang Pharmaceutics Univ.; 1992.09–2002.06, as a lecturer, assoc. professor and professor at Changchun University of Technology. She was a JSPS post doctor at Riken (2002-2004), a visiting scholar at Hong Kong Baptist Univ. and a visiting professor in Colorado State University (USA). In 2005, she was a holder of ‘A Hundred Talents Young Scholars’ of CAS. Prof. Cui's research interest covers the organometallic synthesis in particular the design of organo-lanthanide catalysts, and precisely controlled polymerizations via ionic, coordination and ring-opening mechanisms.
