Maolin DAI is currently a JSPS Research Fellow affiliated with The University of Tokyo. His research interests include ultrafast lasers, fiber lasers and amplifiers, laser spectroscopy, and optical metrology. He obtained his master’s degree from Tsinghua University and his PhD from The University of Tokyo. He was also a visiting scholar at the Optoelectronics Research Centre (ORC), University of Southampton. He is a recipient of the Laser Technology, Engineering and Applications Scholarship from SPIE and has been recognized as an Outstanding Reviewer by Optica (formerly OSA).
