Dominik Nemec studied at University of Zagreb and received his diploma in 2000 in mechanical engineering with specialization in process and energy technology. At Fraunhofer since 2001, currently in the Research Team “Pigments and Dispersing Technology”. His research focuses on the process chain of dispersion technology, from the development of scientific fundamentals to industrial application. Dispersing/mixing technology, process engineering, nanoparticles, bio-based and functional materials, manufacturing processes for electrode material (electric heating; sensors; battery cells; slurry; pastes; dispersions; suspensions), networking and digitization of dispersing/mixing processes and quality testing are some examples of the work topics.
