Biography
Prof. Dr. Dragoljub Bajić is a full professor of hydrogeology at the Faculty of Mining and Geology, University of Belgrade, and deputy head of the Department of Geology (2024-2027). With more than 19 years of academic and professional experience, his work integrates hydrogeology, groundwater management, hydrodynamics, environmental engineering, multicriteria optimization, fuzzy logic, and decision-making under uncertainty and forensic geology. He is a visiting professor at the University of Banja Luka and an invited lecturer at Tongji University in Shanghai, where he delivers specialized courses on water management in complex engineering and high-risk environments. He has authored more than 160 scientific papers, monograph chapters, a university textbook, four professional manuals, and software and database solutions for optimization and decision support. Prof. Bajić is actively engaged in national expert commissions, accreditation and quality-assurance bodies, professional reviews and court expertise. His scientific and professional profile is distinguished by a multidisciplinary approach to modelling complex natural systems and by the development of reliable, practical and technically optimized solutions for water resources, mining and environmental protection.
