I completed a general surgery residency, an abdominal surgery specialization, and a surgical oncology European fellowship. Completed PhD in 2024 at University of Zagreb. More than 10 years I have worked as a specialist at HPB and the liver transplant department in a high-volume university hospital. My special areas of interest are liver and pancreatic surgery and emergency surgery, including liver procurement and transplantation. I am intensively scientifically active and have more than 80 publications so far, H-index 16. I serve as editor and reviewer in many international journals. My scientific interests include liver regeneration, HPB surgery and surgical innovation.
