Shang Wang received his PhD focusing on finite element modeling and the simulation of rolling production lines from the University of Science and Technology Beijing in 2019. He worked as a Lecturer at Beijing Polytechnic University (September 2019–December 2022). In January 2023, he was promoted to Associate Professor at Beijing Polytechnic University. His research topics mainly include: heuristic algorithm development, machine learning, and mathematical model optimization of rolling production lines.
