Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Uberlândia (2005–2009), and completed a Master’s degree (2010–2011) and a PhD (2011–2015) at the same institution. In 2010, participated in an exchange and training program at the Polytechnic University of Turin, Italy, focused on Sustainable Energy. Between 2014 and 2015, carried out a Sandwich PhD project at the Leibniz Institute for Agricultural Engineering and Bioeconomy, Potsdam, Germany. From 2020 to 2021, completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Institute of Particle Technology, Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen–Nuremberg (FAU), Germany. He is a former fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation and a member of the Humboldt Club of Brazil. He is currently an Associate Professor at the Federal University of Goiás (UFG), Brazil, in the Chemical Engineering Program (2016–present). His research focuses on fluid dynamics in industrial equipment involving multiphase particulate systems, using experiments and numerical simulations (CFD, DEM, and CFD–DEM). He has published articles in international journals, a book chapter, and a book published by Taylor & Francis, awarded the Outstanding Drying Book Award at IDS 2024 (China).
