I am a researcher working at the intersection of medicine, artificial intelligence, and 3D technologies. I hold a PhD in Medicine from Rīga Stradiņš University, where my doctoral research focused on automated detection, segmentation, and 3D reconstruction of morphological structures from medical images using deep neural networks. My work centres on applying AI to medical imaging, including bone metastasis detection, osteoporosis screening, and automated cell counting, as well as developing 3D printing and modelling methods for anatomy education and biomedical research. I am a Researcher at the RSU Research Centre and I serve on the Research Ethics Committee of Riga Technical University. I am strongly committed to interdisciplinary research, which I believe is essential to the advancement and long-term sustainability of scientific work. My background spans biology (BSc, University of Latvia), biomedicine (MSc, RSU), and medicine (PhD, RSU), and I have co-developed university courses on AI in image diagnostics and healthcare data processing.
