Eduardo Gutiérrez Juárez holds a PhD in Public Space and Urban Regeneration: art, theory and heritage conservation and a Master in Urban Design, City and Society from the University of Barcelona. He holds a degree in Architecture from the Universidad de las Américas Puebla.
He is a full member of the National Academy of Architecture of México, Puebla chapter.
His areas of interest are urban socio-spatial dynamics. His work and research focuses on the participation of architectural objects in the construction of the city, with special interest in the so-called collective spaces and their relationship with public space understood as a system that allows the continuity and health of the urban fabric.
Since 2018, he has been a full-time professor in the Academic Department of Architecture of the School of Arts and Humanities at the Universidad de las Américas Puebla.
