Dr Ema Aleksic is an Associate Professor in the Department of Jaw Orthopedics at the Faculty of Dentistry in Pancevo. She graduated from the same faculty in 2007 and completed her specialization in Jaw Orthopedics in 2016. She has been working at the faculty since 2008, initially as a teaching associate, then as an assistant, and later as an assistant professor. Her areas of interest and research include preventive dentistry for children, orthodontic appliances, functional appliances (trainers), aesthetics, oral microbiology. She is a member of the Serbian Dental Chamber, the Orthodontic Association of Serbia, and the European Orthodontic Society
