My research interests focus on molecularly imprinted polymers and membranes, functional polymeric materials, adsorption and separation processes, nanomaterials, sensor systems, and environmental applications. I conduct studies on the development and characterization of selective materials for heavy metal removal, molecular recognition, purification, and separation. In particular, I am interested in designing polymeric membranes functionalized with natural extracts and bioactive compounds and evaluating their adsorption, selectivity, and environmental remediation performance. My research also includes LC–MS/MS-based phytochemical profiling, the investigation of natural products, and the evaluation of their antioxidant, antimicrobial, cholinesterase, and α-glucosidase inhibitory activities. In addition, I work on colorimetric sensor systems for food safety, including the rapid detection of food adulteration and counterfeiting. I adopt an interdisciplinary approach that integrates polymer chemistry, analytical chemistry, natural product research, nanotechnology, environmental science, and sensor development.
