I am a biomedical researcher and entrepreneur specialized in immunology, infectious diseases, and sepsis. My research focuses on understanding functional immune responses to infection, particularly endotoxin tolerance and sepsis-induced immune dysfunction, and translating these mechanisms into clinically useful diagnostic tools. I have authored more than 30 scientific publications and currently serve as CEO and CSO of the startup Loop Diagnostics, where I lead the development and clinical translation of host-response diagnostics for the early identification and stratification of sepsis. My broader research interests include innate immunity, immune phenotyping, biomarkers, point-of-care diagnostics, and precision medicine in infectious diseases.
