Post-doctoral Researcher at University of Rome Tor Vergata

Biography

Erica Magliano received her Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering cum laude from the University of Salerno in 2020. Her master’s thesis research was conducted at the Helmholtz Zentrum Berlin (HZB) in Germany, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Steve Albrecht, and focused on the fabrication and characterization of co-evaporated perovskite solar cells. She then joined Prof. Dr. Aldo Di Carlo's research group at the University of Rome Tor Vergata for her PhD, where her work centered on the development of semitransparent perovskite solar cells for silicon heterojunction-based tandem applications. Her research specifically addressed sputtering damage and buffer layer deposition for both n-i-p and p-i-n configurations of perovskite solar cells. Currently, she is a Post-doctoral Researcher in Prof. Di Carlo's group, with a primary focus on perovskite-based tandem solar cells and buffer layer customization.
