Prof. Dr. Enrique Teran

I am working for more than 20 years on vascular factors, infectious diseases, oxidative stress, and pharmacogenetics in the Ecuadorian population. To reach this, I develop a very well-structured relationship with the Ecuadorian Ministry of Health and he has been successful in setting up all necessary lab facilities to perform "in-house" the majority of the analysis included in his studies. I also dedicated some of his time to the study of metabolic syndrome both in the indigenous and mestizo populations in Ecuador.
