I completed my studies in Mathematics at the University of Valencia. I trained as a Professor at the University of Alicante and I am currently a Professor of Statistics and Operations Research in the Department of Statistics, Mathematics and Computer Science at the University "Miguel Hernández" of Elche. My teaching activity is developed by teaching Biostatistics in the Degree of Medicine in the Faculty of Medicine and the subject Tics in Education in the Master's Degree in Teaching. My research has focused on the problem of location of hierarchical public services (hospitals, health centres). Another aspect in which we have delved into has been the location of mobile emergency services, determining where they should be stationed to ensure a service that meets certain parameters of equity and efficiency, as a result of which I obtained a PhD in Science and Statistical Techniques. Other areas such as Efficiency Analysis (DEA) and sampling are fields in which we have achieved some interesting results. Finally, the management of databases on the Internet is the last line that has managed to capture our attention.
