I am Fenghui Duan. I obtained my B.S. degree from the University of Science and Technology Beijing in 2013 and completed my Ph.D. at the Institute of Metal Research (IMR, Shenyang), Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 2019. Following a two-year postdoctoral appointment in Prof. Yi Li's group at IMR, I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at City University of Hong Kong, working under the supervision of Prof. Jian Lu. My research centers on the physical metallurgy and mechanical behavior of advanced structural materials. Specifically, my current work is dedicated to interface engineering and the mechanical properties of nanocrystalline and nanotwinned metallic materials. Furthermore, I am actively investigating the mechanical performance of additive manufactured (3D-printed) precipitation-hardened high-entropy alloys.
