Fernando Muñoz holds a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from the National University of Mar del Plata (UNMdP), Argentina. He is a Research Scientist at the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET), based at the Biological Research Institute (IIB). His research expertise lies in Plant Biochemistry, with a current focus on developing innovative strategies to enhance the value of agronomic crops through selenium biofortification. In addition to his research, Dr. Muñoz serves as a Lecturer in Biological Chemistry at the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences (UNMdP). He leads several national research initiatives and actively fosters international scientific collaborations.
