Gang Hu is a professor of Computer Engineering and Applied Mathematics at Xi'an University of Technology. He received his bachelor's degree from Xi'an University of Technology in 2002, his master's degree from Northwestern Polytechnical University in 2008, and his doctorate from Xi'an University of Technology in 2016. He is a member of the Shaanxi Mathematical Society, a member of CCF and CSIAM, and an MR commentator of the American Mathematical Society. He is also a reviewer for more than 20 foreign SCI journals, as well as more than 10 domestic journals such as the Journal of CAD, China Mechanical Engineering, and the Journal of Graphics. He is currently a review expert for the National Natural Science Foundation, Chongqing Municipality and Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation, and Shaanxi Provincial Science and Technology Awards. His research interests include Curve Fitting, Algorithms, Modeling, Metaheuristic Algorithms, Evolutionary Computation, and Multiobjective Optimization.
