Genesy has a degree in Biology - Universidad de Sucre (2016). He was a young researcher at Colciencias (administrative department of science, technology and investigation-Colombia), 02/2017-02/2018- Universidad de Cartagena. He is currently a PhD student in Genetics and Molecular Biology at the Universidad de Campinas, supervised by Professor Marcelo Brocchi. He has experience in molecular biology, bacterial genetics, microbiology, antiviral evaluation, eukaryotic cell culture and immunotherapy against cancer.
