Giancarlo Gola is associate professor of Experimental Education at the Department of Humanities, University of Trieste. His research interests focus on the implicit and explicit aspects of knowledge in the field of pedagogy and on neuroeducation and neuro-pedagogy perspectives. He collaborates with national and international research groups on topics related to Educational Neuroscience. Among his awards in the field of Neuroeducation, he received the REN Award Research Educational Neuroscience Rome (IT) 2022 and was selected for the QS Reimagine Education Award for Neuroscience of Learning Award London (UK) 2025. Combining interests in the conscious and hidden levels of knowledge, recent studies address interdisciplinary issues in education, teaching, neuroscience and cognitive science, particularly in the broad field of neuro-knowledge.
