Dr. Guolong "Glenn" Zhang is currently a professor of molecular immunology and Boulware Endowed Chair in the Department of Animal and Food Sciences at Oklahoma State University. He received his BS and MS degrees in Animal Science from China Agricultural University, and his PhD in Immunophysiology from Kansas State University. He joined Oklahoma State University in January 2002 after two years of postdoctoral training in the Howard Hughes Medical Institute and Department of Immunobiology at Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Zhang's research has been focused on the modulation of animal innate immunity and intestinal microbiota, with the long-term goal of developing innovative antibiotic-free strategies to achieve optimal animal health and production efficiency.
