Dr. Guoshun Luo is an Associate Researcher in the Department of Medicinal Chemistry at China Pharmaceutical University (CPU). He received his Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry from CPU in 2019, which included a joint training period (2017–2019) at the University of Texas at Austin. Following his doctoral studies, he completed postdoctoral training at CPU, further advancing his expertise in medicinal chemistry and chemical biology. In September 2022, he was appointed Associate Investigator in the College of Pharmacy at CPU. His research centers on the discovery of small-molecule therapeutics for cancer and metabolic syndrome, with a focus on hormone receptor-targeted anticancer agents. Employing a multidisciplinary strategy, his team designs heterobifunctional inhibitors and degraders as chemical tools to investigate the biological functions and therapeutic potential of high-value targets.
