Sharareh Harirchi is particularly interested in the extremophiles that love extreme conditions, especially thermophiles. These kinds of microorganisms are able to produce highly resistant materials that can be used for industrial purposes. Currently, we are working on the enzymatic capability of thermophilic bacteria and their bioactive materials in the field of resource recovery and medical applications, respectively.
