Prof. Dr. Ismail Hdoufane is an Associate Professor of Theoretical Chemistry at the Faculty of Sciences Semlalia, Cadi Ayyad University (Marrakech, Morocco). He obtained his MSc in Chemistry and a PhD from Cadi Ayyad University. His research bridges theory and application by combining quantum chemistry and statistical mechanics with bioinformatics and computer-aided drug design (molecular docking, molecular dynamics, and QSAR) to elucidate protein structure–function relationships and prioritize therapeutic candidates. Notable academic contributions include peer-reviewed studies on computational screening and modeling of bioactive small molecules for antiviral and anticancer targets.
