Associate Professor, Department of Electrical, Electronics, and Control Engineering, Kongju National University, South Korea. Dr. Choi received his Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Yonsei University, Seoul. He has been leading an individual research project funded by the National Research Foundation of Korea as an Young Researcher program since 2022, with a five-year commitment. His research interests include power system dynamics, power system stability, and flexibility. His research focuses on grid integration of energy storage systems (ESS), and renewable energy technologies.and operation and control of a power system with high penetration of VRE IBR.
